Use a
time chart (also known as a Gantt chart) to plan your time out. An
example of the sort of chart you could use is below.
To help
you plan out your chart it is worth considering the following;
Ensure
you leave enough time for your folio; working drawings and development
are an important part of designing. Also plan time in for modifications
and testing, as you may need to make adjustments to your project.To start
your chart make a list of all the tasks you have to do, use the design
process guide to help you with this. You can then allocate suitable
amounts of time for each. It is wise to leave some time spare at the
end for any unexpected extra tasks that crop up.
Ensure
you complete the work you have set yourself each week, as if you get
behind it will be very difficult to catch up. |
