Mood Boards

Mood boards can help you to research for ideas for your project and to present them in a way which communicates various aspects of your design ideas to you and others.


The best way to design a mood boards is by looking in magazines, on the internet, in the library for images that your like or inspire you. You can also take photos and collect materials and objects.

Mood boards are usually in the form of a large board with your findings on, presented in a way which communicates best what you are thinking about for your design.

However, there is no reason why you can't add three dimensional objects, or have them in a box to present with your board.The areas you might like to cover on your mood board are;
